Adam is the Head of Content at Defining Wealth Partners. He likes to write. Specifically, he likes to write in a way most people don’t expect to see in the finance space. Sort of like you’re reading right now.

Professionally

Adam is the former holder of a Series 7. Go ahead — look him up on BrokerCheck. After starting his career at Jackson National, he worked as a wholesaler at AllianceBernstein for three years, before quitting his job, moving to Hawaii, and starting a career as a copywriter and ghostwriter.

Since 2022, Adam has helped financial professionals build their personal brands on LinkedIn, leading to 100+ million views for his clients. He is the leading authority for financial advisor growth and writing on LinkedIn, and co-founded The Advisor GPS to help as many advisors as possible to grow their brands, attract opportunities, and establish more client relationships on LinkedIn.

Adam can’t help you with Roth conversions or an optimal withdrawal strategy, but he’s happy to chat with you about the Oxford comma or the literary offenses of James Fenimore Cooper.

Personally

Despite having the flexibility to live anywhere in the world, Adam lives in Grand Rapids, MI, where it’s 26 degrees as he’s writing this. But he has two nieces here, he reminds himself through chattering teeth.

Adam spends a month every year back in Hawaii, visiting old friends and getting out of the tundra. Like Jake Gardner, Adam is also obsessed with the Detroit Tigers. Unlike Jake Gardner, Adam was not good enough to play college baseball.

Adam spends his time visiting with family, attending church, watching sports, doing CrossFit (had to bring that up), and tinkering around with various creative writing projects, most of which will never see the light of day.
