Tyler is an Associate Advisor at Defining Wealth Partners and truly believes in the power of thoughtful, detail-oriented financial planning. He is passionate about building lasting relationships that are built upon trust and integrity. Tyler believes that money is a tool that can be used to give individuals and families the freedom to be the architect of their lives.

Professionally

Tyler graduated from the University of Tennessee with a bachelor’s degree in finance with a collateral in entrepreneurship. After graduation, Tyler headed west to Denver, Colorado to work as a residential real estate agent. After a valuable experience in real estate, Tyler changed industries to pursue his true passion in personal financial planning. He started his financial planning career with a national brokerage firm, working in numerous roles helping individuals and families with their personal finances. After three years, Tyler moved back home to Nashville, Tennessee and joined an independent RIA specializing in full-service financial planning helping individuals, families, and small businesses. During his time, he earned the Certified Financial Planner™ designation to further increase his expertise delivering high-quality financial guidance.

Personally

Outside the office, Tyler enjoys snowboarding, riding dirtbikes, and travelling with his fiancé, Graham. When they are not on the road, Tyler and Graham can be found spending time with family and friends, exploring Nashville, and enjoying movie nights.
