What We Help With
Why would I need a financial advisor?
This is a great question. It can be hard to know what benefit you might receive from a financial advisor without having experienced working with one before. The clarity and confidence of knowing your financial life is in order and on the right track could be one benefit, and potentially worth the cost on its own.
That said, Vanguard did a study showing investors with a financial advisor average 3% NET average returns higher than those without an advisor. Beyond investment choices and behavior, a good advisor acts as a guide to a changing landscape of tax, financial, and investment pitfalls, opportunities to be sure you are on the right path FOR YOU.
Are there any other fees I pay for the plan or the RightCapital portal access?
No – your one-time financial plan only has the $4,500 flat fee.
Do you offer any other services?
What if I decide I want to work with Defining Wealth in an ongoing capacity?
If you decide to move forward with Defining Wealth in an ongoing capacity, we will apply your one-time plan fee to the applicable fees for the service you choose going forward.
Is there a process for reaching out after the 30-day period following my financial plan delivery?
If you would like support with your financial plan following the 30-day period following plan delivery, we have additional service offerings that could make sense for you. We offering Ongoing Planning for those looking to establish a long-term relationship or a Financial Plan Review – an hour-long review of your plan with suggestions for moving forward.
